Less Humid
This weather of the past day or so has been much less humid. Still fairly hot but afternoon humidity in the 30's. More humid weather is expected by late in the weekend. Maybe the 4th won't be that bad. Still waiting on some tropical development. Nothing else to talk about today.

Hot Hot Hot!
Random people on a beach at least makes you feel a little cooler. Man, has it been hot with highs in the upper 90's. Some parts of town got a brief thunderstorm late afternoon. We had a couple of showers here in the valley, but rainfall totals were less than a quarter inch. It did manage to cool things down just a little and postpones watering the lawn for another day. This is the time of year I really hate. I'll have to put up with it.....several more weeks (months) of hot weather.

Relative Humidity
Hot and humid weather has finally arrived. It started at a family get together Saturday in the Metroplex. Today it spread into Arkansas. Some locations may even see triple digits this week. And, how bout that hail storm in northern New Jersey!
To humid to continue on. Later.

Fast Moving Storms
Not my pictures....they came of the Channel 4 web site from viewers. The big picture at the top of the blog is from Perryville west of Little Rock. A very impressive wall cloud. More photos and video can be found at the KARK site.
This was a fast moving line of storms with the classic "bow" effect indicating very strong straight line winds of 60 to 80 mph. Lots of storm damage reported along the I-40 corridor from Fort Smith into far eastern Arkansas. The worst of it was just north of us. There may have been a tornado or two.

Dry Weather Continues
Just a quick update. We had a light shower I believe on Thursday morning. Friday and Saturday mornings saw lows in the 50's and highs in the upper 70s and low 80s. I could survive a Summer like that. But I know the heat and humidity is probably just days away.

Summer is here
Weasley is much better following a trip to the vet. As for his problem.....well....let's just say that in the future Weasley will be cautious before bending over to pick up a bar of soap in the shower. Ouch! Hopefully he won't need a return visit for awhile.
Sunny and hot today with highs in the 90s. Possibly a shower on Wednesday and then drier weather later in the week. Hurricane season begins today. We'll watch the waters closely for the next few months. May ended as one of the wettest on record. Look at some of these totals.
