Roller Coaster Weather

The roller coaster weather has continued this past week. One day we hit 75-degrees - two degrees shy of the record - and the next morning it was 29. We've had several cold mornings lately with 23 posted Sunday morning. Expect highs in the 50s and lows in the upper 20s for the next couple of days. Rain is in the forecast for mid-week.

Tornadoes can occur any time of the year in Arkansas, but the peak season is rapidly approaching. The Weather Channel's Storm Stories is starting a new season and one episode features the tornado outbreak of January 2008. I'll keep you up to date on other weather related programs as I run across them.

Well, it's certainly been a shock to my system coming back to 70 degree weather after being in the winter woods of Wisconsin (and Chicago with that frigid wind blowing off the lake!).

Like being in two different worlds.
