Rainy Days and Mondays

The rains continue. It was cloudy all weekend here in central Arkansas with most of our inch and a half coming on Saturday morning. But many parts of the state continued to get rain today. More is in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow...drier weather is coming later in the week. I understand parts of south Arkansas got several inches over the past few days.

OK....why the picture of the sun. Has the electromagnetic field reversed yet? --- no. But some say the sun is responsible for a slowdown in "global warming". As most of you know, I do NOT believe in manmade global warming. It's all cycles. Why do you think they named that big island off the coast of Canada - Greenland. It wasn't because of green snow and ice. An interesting link on the Accuweather global warming blog.

Still overcast and drizzly here today. I'm about to go work a half day and plan to take my umbrella in since the chances of MORE rain goes up around the time I go into work.

I think Plano has had close to 6 or 7 inches of rain since Thurs. night when the skies opened up!

I've got mushrooms in my yard. Can't scoop poop! :( Gonna be a messy weekend scoop if I can't get around to it until Fri. evening or Sat.

Enjoying the MUCH cooler, unseasonable temps, tho!!! :)

Still getting it here, too. We've gotten almost 8 inches at our house in the past 3-4 days.

Yes...the next poop-scooping event is gonna be messy!
