I don't like this forecast

We are in for what could be a couple of nasty days. A winter storm watch has been issued for Monday night and Tuesday. A very strong cold front is moving toward central Arkansas and as usual we are on the borderline. Northwest Arkansas is definitely going to get ice and that will create problems for students wanting to get home early for Christmas break. Some may have to be patient for a couple of days until the roads are clear. South of Little Rock it looks like just rain...and with a little luck the ice will stay north of us. I love snow....but hate ice. Here's a link to the National Weather Service's thoughts on this storm.

it's not too bad here, just some icy spots on the roads. apparently bentonville schools are closed? seemed like most of the precipitation was to the south though. we'll see what happens the next few days. Supposed to snow this afternoon! only a high of 24!

I hate ice, too! Nothing much here, so far, but COLD! I hadn't checked the forecast today, so I left the house this morning expecting mid-40s. Surprised to find it in the 30s mid-day!

Actually, we're getting brief bursts of sleet from time to time here right now. It's 25 and hasn't topped 30 all day long. Bitterly cold.

I think the high tomorrow is due to be 36.

I like the cold, hate the ice and am BEGGING for snow! :)
