Wasn't suppose to be Icy....but it was. Interestingly it started at 7:00 this morning with a big thunderstorm that dropped the temperature from 35 down to 31. Luckily the record warmth from Saturday kept the streets from becoming slippery. Only problems were on some bridges and overpasses. Some power outages occurred south of the city. I understand even Pam had some ice on the trees in Plano. John reported a little sleet overnight. Kelly just had rain.Monday, January 5, 2009

Still icy here but warming up a notch to above freezing. Hopefully, it will be gone by the morning.
School starts for the kids and I have an appointment I have to get to.
Snow I love, Ice, NOT!!
Thank goodness I missed the ice! We've just gotten about an inch of rain so far.
Not ideal weather for housebreaking puppies, but definitely better than trying to negotiate icy back steps!
